How to Install numactl software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

numactl software package provides NUMA scheduling and memory placement tool, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install numactl

numactl is installed in your system.

Make ensure the numactl package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep numactl *

You will get with numactl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
